Liam Livingstone Fastest 50 in ODI: In a big news development, Liam Livingstone has went on to smash the fastest ODI fifty for England in the ongoing first ODI match against Netherlands at the Castle Avenue in in Amstelveen. The Eoin Morgan-led England team is currently touring Netherlands for a short limited-overs series comprising of as many as three ODI matches. The visiting England side has put up a phenomenal show with the bat in the 1st ODI against Netherlands.

Records tumbled as England have absolutely blown away Netherlands on their home soil after having recorded the highest-ever score in ODI cricket history with a mammoth total of 498 for 4 in their quota of 50 overs. Liam Livingstone recorded the fastest half-century for England in the history of 50-overs cricket that came off only 17 balls. This was also the fifth highest overall fifty in ODI cricket. Livingstone smashed a blazing unbeaten knock of 66 runs off only 22 balls that included of 6 sixes and as many fours.
Former South Africa cricketer AB de Villiers still holds the record for hitting the fastest fifty-ever in ODI cricket history as he smacked a sensational half-century off just 16 balls against West Indies in 2015.

After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, England did not had the best of starts as they lost wicket of their premier opening batsman Jason Roy in just the second over of the match. However, the pair of Dawid Malan and Philip Salt then revived England’s innings in an amazing fashion with a staggering partnership of 222 runs. Buttler and Livingstone smashed a blistering total of 91 runs in just 5.2 overs to help England finish with a massive total of 498 for 4. Jos Buttler recorded a stupendous unbeaten innings of 162 runs off just 70 balls that included 14 sixes and 7 fours.
