TENDULKAR JR. TRAINING AT LORD’S
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar is currently present in London. He is training with Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) youth setup. He is also actively taking part in team India’s training sessions. During the practice match, he was seen bowling to Virat Kohli at the nets, before the second test at Lord’s. Sadly, in the rain reduced second Test match, India lost by an innings and 159 runs. During the rain, Tendulkar Jr. was seen helping the Lord’s ground staff with the covers.
Arjun recently made his debut for the Indian U-19 team in Sri Lanka. In his debut match, he took his first wicket in the second over only and impressed everyone. But in the subsequent matches, he did not perform too well. As a result, Tendulkar Jr. finished two games with just three wickets and the batting was far from being good too. He was not selected for the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka. So, he is training in Lord’s to brush up his skills.
English women’s team star and his friend Danielle Wyatt who was also present at in the stands, took a cheeky dig at Arjun when rain affected the game.
