ENG vs SA: England Playing 11 Announced for 2nd Test. Here’s official update
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced their final playing 11 for the second Test against South Africa starting from Thursday. Hosts have made just a single change to their side from the opening Test as right-arm pacer Ollie Robinson returns to the team after a long injury lay-off in place of Matty Potts. Due to a back injury, Robinson missed the Windies tour and the recent home Test matches against New Zealand and India.
With a total of 21 wickets from as many as 4 Test matches, Ollie Robinson was the highest wicket-taker in 2021 home Test series against India. On the other hand, the England team management have decided to give one more opportunity to the out-of-form Zak Crawley in the second game against the Proteas.
