Bracewell suffered a severe injury during UK domestic T20 action, which requires a lengthy rehabilitation period. During a T20 match for Worcestershire against Yorkshire, Bracewell experienced a devastating rupture of his right Achilles. This injury forced him to retire hurt on 11* while batting, and subsequent medical examinations confirmed the severity of the damage. The all-rounder had surgery in the UK, and now following by an extensive rehabilitation process expected to last six to eight months.
