ENG vs IND: ‘Virat Kohli needs to go play in Ranji Trophy’- Twitter trolls Virat Kohli after his latest failure

Indian captain Virat Kohli’s lean patch in Test cricket continued in the ongoing third Test in Leeds as his prime nemesis James Anderson nicked him off for the 2nd time in the five-match series.
It all happened on the fifth delivery of the 11th over when James Anderson, who was absolutely sensational on the first morning of the third Test, enticed Virat Kohli into a cover-drive.
The scrambled seam, however, did the trick for James Anderson as Virat Kohli got a thick outside edge off his bat and Jos Buttler did the rest by taking the simplest of catches.

ENG vs IND- Virat Kohli’s struggles in Test cricket continue
Virat Kohli has not scored an international hundred since his ton against Bangladesh in India’s maiden pink-ball Test way back in November 2019.
Since then, Kohli has gone 50 international innings across formats without registering a three-figure score- 18 in Tests, 15 in ODIs, and 17 T20Is. This was the seventh instance that James Anderson got rid of Virat Kohli in Test match cricket- the joint-most by any bowler alongside Nathan Lyon.
The Indian skipper has managed a mere 414 runs in his last 18 Test innings at an average of 23 with just three half-centuries.
As usual, Twitter blew up after yet another failure by Virat Kohli.

Won't happen but Kohli ending up with a test average less than 50 would be one of the most heartbreaking things to see.

50* for Virat Kohli. 50 inns without an Int'l century for Kohli, last Int'l century was against Shakib-less Bangladesh in India on 23rd November 2019. Kohli's Test average since 1st January 2020 is 23.00 (11 Tests, 18 inns, 414 runs). Most over-rated cricketer ever. #Cricket
