The 3rd test between India and England has become interesting due to the home team, England team clearly on the front foot after the completion of Day 1. The Indian team were unable to come to terms of brilliant bowling display by the bowlers like Anderson, Robinson, Curran, and Overton. The visitors were dismissed for a score of 78, with Rohit Sharma being the highest run-scorer with 19 runs. The England team on reply have scored 120 runs without losing their single wicket, and have a lead of 42 runs. The openers Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed are well settled a t scores of 52* and 60* respectively.
Pant reveals what England fans did to Mohammed Siraj
After the day 1 of the 3rd test match was over, Rishabh Pant presided over the press conference for the Indian team. The wicketkeeper was then asked about why the Indian captain, Virat Kohli was angry at some English fans. This was an answer by Rishabh Pant which revealed the truth about shocking behavior by English fans.
“I think, somebody threw a ball inside, at Siraj, so he [Kohli] was upset. You can say whatever you want to chant, but don’t throw things at the fielders and all those things. It is not good for cricket, I guess.”

New Day beckons for the Indian team
The Day 1 of the 3rd Test match will not be a good memory for the Indian test team or the fans. But, the Day 2 is expected to bring energy into the pace battery of the team. The bowlers like Siraj, Bumrah, Shami, and Ishant wer quite impressive in the last test match and would look to remove the bad memory of first day and concentrate on doing well on Day 2 and dismiss England batting unit as soon as possible.
