The Indian team is busy preparing for the England test series starting from August 4 at Trent Bridge. The WTC Final which was won by New Zealand must have given a good insight to the team management about their combinations and style of play. In the combination point of view, the team also needs to get their priorities right regarding playing 3 pacers and 2 spin options or 4 pacers and 1 spinner. The injury concerns have also kept the team in doubt about their whole squad.

Rise of Suryakumar Yadav and Prithvi Shaw
The opener Prithvi Shaw who was dropped from the test team after the Australia test series will be back for the series against England. His performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, IPL and then Sri Lanka series have been too good for giving him an another chance.
Another batsman from Mumbai, Suryakumar Yadav who had been banging the door for past few years is having a dream year. After getting named in the limited-overs squad, his performances have been terrific and there has been room of complacency. Due to his natural ability to play swing bowlers, he will be an asset to the test team.
Both the players are currently playing for Indian in the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka.
