Arshdeep Singh Debut ENG vs IND: In an important news development, left-arm pace bowler Arshdeep Singh is all set to make his India debut in the 1st T20I against England scheduled to take place at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. After an exciting fifth and final Test match, England will be hosting India for as many as three T20I games followed by a three-match ODI series. This will be a crucial series for the visiting Indian side in order to choose their possible playing combination for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has awarded left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh with his maiden T20I cap for the opening encounter against England. Arshdeep has performed remarkably well with the ball during the previous two seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Punjab Kings. He picked up as many as 10 wickets in IPL 2022 at a brilliant economy of less than 8. Incidentally, the 23-year-old is only part of the India squad for the first T20I match against England.
