The current scenario is that India need a total of 157 runs with 9 wickets in hand to win this Test match but it is literally pelting down at the moment in Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The first session of play has already been washed out as the umpires were forced to call for an early lunch break.

However, the positive news is that weather is expected to clear around 8: 30 PM IST and play can be stretched to midnight 12 AM IST. According to recent sources, it looks like rain has finally stopped at Trent Bridge and the groundstaff are at work now.
