ENG vs AUS: Australia make surprise selection for fifth Ashes Test

Australia have made a surprise selection for fifth Ashes Test, with Mitchell Marsh getting named in the 12-man squad for the final Ashes fixture at The Oval.

Marsh IN; Travis OUT

Travis Head doesn’t find a place in the squad. “The reason Travis isn’t playing is we felt we needed extra bowling after a long series,” explained skipper Tim Paine.

“He’s disappointed he’s not playing. No doubt he’s in the top six or seven batsmen in this county,” added Paine.
