ENG vs AUS Ashes 2023: England Playing 11 announced for England vs Australia 4th Test. Check details

The massive breaking news development coming in is that hosts England have official confirmed their playing 11 for the fourth Test match of the Ashes 2023 scheduled to begin from 19 July, 2023 at the Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester. England made a phenomenal comeback recently to register an excellent 3-wicket victory over Australia in the third Test match to keep themselves alive and kicking in Ashes 2023. However, Australia still have a lead of 2-1 in the five-match Test series.

England Playing XI

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have once again announced their playing XI a couple of days before the start of the 4th Test match against Australia beginning from Wednesday. 40-yera-old veteran pacer James Anderson is back in the side after having been rested for the Headingley Test match. The rest of the England team remains unchanged as the pace bowling duo of Mark Wood and Chris Woakes delivered match-winning performances in Headingley after having played the longest format of the game since a while. However, it will be interesting to see who bats at the No.3 position after Harry Brook and Moeen Ali did once during the Headingley Test.
