After bowling just one over during the previous game against Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s T Natarajan suffered a suspected niggle and subsequently left the field. However, the left-arm pacer returned to complete his full quota of four overs and finished with figures of 2 for 42 that included the crucial wickets of Ruturaj Gaikwad and MS Dhoni as Chennai Super Kings posted a massive total of 202 for 2. SRH head coach Tom Moody also mentioned that it was a massive blow to loose both of Natarajan and Washington Sundar for moments during the first innings of the match.

“When you lose one of your important bowlers, it is a massive blow to the side. We also had Natarajan off the field with an injury that was taking sometime before he could come back on,” said SRH coach Tom Moody after the game against Chennai Super Kings.

However, things are not looking very much serious and T Natarajan should be available for selection in the crucial game against Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. It has been a brilliant season for Natarajan so far having picked up a total of 17 wickets from just 9 games at a fine economy of 8.66.

Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad: Probable SRH Playing 11

In case Sunrisers Hyderabad decide to rest Natarajan as a precautionary measure for the today IPL match, Kartik Tyagi might get his first game of IPL 2022 or they can even hand a debut to latest recruit Sushant Mishra. Also, it will be interesting to see whether Washington Sundar is available for selection or not after pulling out a split webbing for the second time this T20 season.
