While on the other hand, the Rishabh Pant-led side has been in the red hot from and if they emerge victorious today, they are most likely to seal a spot in the playoffs.
Chris Morris misses out due to strategic combination
Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and asked Delhi Capitals to bat in the day’s encounter. While the Rishabh Pant-led side made one change bringing Lalit Yadav in place of Marcus Stoinis, RR on the other hand surprised everyone by bringing in David Miller and Tabraiz Shamsi in place of Evin Lewis and Chris Morris.

While the decision to drop Evin Lewis could be off the injury concerns, the decision to leave out Proteas all-rounder Chris Morris could be because of the strategic combination and it remains to be seen whether these steps works or not.

The last time when these two crossed swords with each other in the first leg of the tournament at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, it saw Rajasthan Royals clinching the match by 3 wickets. Asked to bat first, Delhi Capitals on account of skipper Rishabh Pant’s 51 runs posted a total of 147 runs.
Chasing the target it almost seemed like the Sanju Samson-led side would choke but David Milller’s knock of 62 runs kept then in the hunt and in the end, Chris Morris’s brutal cameo of 36 runs took them home and made sure that they end the day on the winning note.
