Warner further mentioned that there was a discussion in the team management between Rilee Rossouw and Powell, but the former emerged as the frontrunner as the team needed a left-handed batsman in the middle-order. On the other hand, South Africa’s premier speedster Anrich Nortje makes his comeback into the DC playing 11 after having missed the opening match against Lucknow Super Giants due to national duty. Rovman failed to contribute much with the bat during the game against Lucknow Super Giants where he scored just 1 run off 3 balls as Delhi Capitals failed to chase down the target of 194 runs.
