DC Playing 11: Delhi Capitals managed to win the game against KKR after 2 consecutive defeats in IPL 2022 so far. Their bowlers put their hands up against a dangerous KKR side. The fact that they are nowhere near their full strength side makes things difficult for Delhi Capitals in the coming games, and they stand no chance against a strong team like RCB without 2 of their main players. Lets take a look at the possible composition of their team for the game against RCB.
DC vs RCB: Mitchell Marsh is still unavailable
The strong Australian batting all rounder, Mitchell Marsh, was one of the highly anticipated buys by DC in the IPL. He was in tremendous form coming into IPL. He scored runs everywhere on tough batting pitches and proved himself as one of the best #3 batsmen in T20s going around. He can also contribute with the ball as a part time bowler. He would be a massive asset to any current T20 team in the world.
DC are badly missing Mitchell Marsh who is a monstrous hitter of pace, with their captain Rishabh Pant consistently getting bounced out by pacers, Mitchell Marsh would have been a great cover for Rishabh Pant in the middle order.
It is also reported that Mitchell Marsh will miss atleast another 4 games.
Probable DC playing 11
- Prithvi Shaw
- David Warner
- Sarfaraz Khan
- Rishabh Pant
- Lalit Yadav
- Rovman Powell
- Axar Patel
- Shardul Thakur
- Kuldeep Yadav
- Khaleel Ahmed
- Mustafizur Rahman
Highest Paid Player in IPL 2022
Prithvi Shaw is in great form and has been carrying that DC batting unit on his shoulders with extraordinary starts but RCB have 2 gun new ball bowlers in Mohammed Siraj and Josh Hazlewood under their ranks and both are capable of bringing the ball back in, which is one of the major threats for Prithvi Shaw. David Warner’s pace game is literally non existent in the last 3 years or so. It requires some miracle for DC to even think about a win against an educated and a strong RCB team.
