DC 2022 Player List: Delhi Capitals Squad; Players Bought at IPL Auction

DC 2022 Player List: The 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) runners-up Delhi Capitals are still searching for their first-ever IPL trophy. Now, with a complete new squad, Delhi Capitals will have to once again build a strong combination of youngsters and experienced players for the upcoming 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. The Rishabh Pant-led team went into the IPL 2022 mega auction with a huge purse of INR 47.5 Crore.

The Delhi Capitals retained their last year’s captain Rishabh Pant for a tremendous amount worth INR 16 Crore while Axar Patel was surprisingly the second retention for INR 9 Crore. The duo of explosive opener Prithvi Shaw and speedster Anrich Nortje were DC’s final two retentions for a price of INR 7.5 and 6.5 Crore respectively.
