The 40th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 saw Sunrisers Hyderabad locking horns against Rajasthan Royals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The match between the two heavyweights saw the Kane Williamson-led side thumping the Sanju Samson-led side by 7 wickets to register their second win of the season.
David Warner hints at leaving SRH after a loss against RR
Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bat. While the Royals made three changes, the Kane Williamson led the side on the other hand made as many as four changes bringing in Jason Roy, Priyam Garg, Abhishek Sharma and Siddarth Kaul in place of David Warner, Kedar Jadhav, Manish Pandey and Khaleel Ahmed.

While the rest of the changes were justified, fans were in shock after David Warner was left out of the playing XI after two failures. Nothing has been going right for the Aussie opener this season as in the middle of the first leg he was sacked as a skipper by management and then was dropped from the playing XI as well.
He did start in the second leg but a couple of failures saw him warming the bench again. Him being dropped didn’t go well with the fans as they flooded the SRH’s Instagram handle with lots of comments.
However, while many fans reminded his contribution for the franchise over the years, some asked David Warner questions and his replies raised the eyebrows of many cricket fans. One fan asked whether the opener is on the ground or not to which he replied and urged his fans to support his team.
Another fan asked him whether the senior Aussie opener will be seen in SRH’s jersey next year or not. His reply made everyone upset as he said that he won’t be part of the franchise.

What did Kane Williamson say after the win against RR?
SRH skipper Kane Williamson lauded his team’s efforts and said that it was a great feeling for them to back to the winning ways.
“It’s a good feeling, some real clarity in roles as well and it’s nice to be back to winning ways. There were a couple of periods of play that were quite significant and we closed nicely with the ball and to get off the start with the bat like that and it was never easy, had to weather some storms with the ball holding up. It’s nice to finish with a win,” he said.
