The Ravindra Jadeja-led side so far have not been at their best ante winless in the tournament. The Faf du Plessis-led side is wearing black armbands to pay tribute to Harshal Patel’s sister, who passed away recently. It is learned that the cricketer’s sister passed during RCB’s last match against Mumbai Indians.

The pacer left team’s bio-bubble immediately after the match against MI on Sunday (10th April). There’s no confirmation when will Harshal join the squad back. On entering the bio-bubble he will have to undergo three-day quarantine before providing his services to the team.

In Harshal’s absence, RCB has handed debut to young Goa batsman Suyash Prabhudessai. The right-hander made his presence felt in the match as he displayed a staggering display of fielding and effect the run out to send in-form Moeen Ali back for just 3 runs.
