CSK Playing 11: The defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have not had the ideal start to their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 campaign. In the tournament opener, the Chennai Super Kings conceded a comprehensive 6-wicket defeat at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders and then also ended up losing their second game of the competition as well against Lucknow Super Giants even after posting a target of 211 runs. The Ravindra Jadeja-led side will now be taking on Punjab Kings in their third match of IPL 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on 3 April.
CSK vs PBKS, Match 11 of IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings Player Availability
After two back-to-back losses, things are not bound to improve for the Chennai Super Kings with respect to the availability concerns of their premier pace bowler Deepak Chahar. The right-arm pacer is still undergoing a rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru for his quadriceps injury. Chahar is expected to return by the second half of the IPL 2022 season. Also, Chris Jordan has been hospitalised with a tonsil infection.

In a very surprising move, the Chennai Super Kings went ahead with just three foreign players during the last game against Lucknow Super Giants. CSK speedster Adam Milne who missed the previous game due to a side strain is likely to be back in the playing 11 on Sunday. Unfortunately, after having a poor outing on his IPL debut where he returned with expensive figures of 0/39, left-arm pacer Mukesh Choudhary will have to make way for Milne only if he is fit.

It is very much likely that Devon Conway will miss out in the Chennai Super Kings playing 11 for this game against Punjab Kings as well with Robin Uthappa scoring a brilliant half-century while opening the batting with Ruturaj Gaikwad.
