Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore are two of the most popular teams in the history of the IPL. Chennai is touted among one of the best teams in the competition as they have held their hands on the coveted title thrice and are the only IPL team to feature in each and every playoffs.
Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore hasn’t been good enough to win a title thus far from 12 editions. Their best performance came in 2009, 2011 and 2016 where they made it to the finals but failed to get their hands on the trophy.
CSK trolls RCB over liquor relief
Just like the challenge on the field, the two teams are involved in off the field banters as well especially on social media. As we all know, the central and state government have re-opened the liquor shops in many regions across the country which has put a smile to the faces of many people.
Chennai who is still under the red zone due to the consistent increase in the cases of coronavirus has not got the relaxation of the opening of liquor shops. However, things are different in Bangalore as there is adequate supply of liquor in the state. Taking a dig at this, this is what CSK wrote on their official twitter handle;
“So much chatter about Chennai competing with Bangalore vis-à-vis liquor sales. With the latest announcement, we are glad we lost that match even before it began, for battles in the present universe are more important.”
Here’s the tweet

The state government of Tamil Nadu is facing the rage of COVID-19 which has caused the loss of many lives. Things are not looking good there in the state as the regular increase in positive cases has barred people from going out of their home amid lockdown. Staying at home is the only measure to avoid the increase of this havoc spread.
