CPL T20: Player Availability and Squad Changes

The brand-new CPL T20 season is just around the corner. There have been some late additions to CPL squads while the availability of some players under the cloud. Let’s take a look them. Trinbago Knight Riders square off against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the tournament opener on September 4.
Trinbago Knight Riders
Kieron Pollard replaces injured Dwayne Bravo as Trinbago Knight Riders captain. Bravo will be missing a major part of the T20 league.
Windies International Lendl Simmons will replace New Zealander Colin Munro for defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders‘ first three matches. Munro will be busy on international duty with the Black Caps.
St Kitts & Nevis Patriots
St Kitts & Nevis Patriots have replaced Isuru Udana with Alzarri Joseph, with the former no longer available for the CPL T20 due to international commitments.
Jason Mohammad and Kjorn Ottley to come into Patriots squad as cover for Aaron Jones. Aaron Jones, will be playing for the USA until 14 September.
Laurie Evans is currently part of Sussex’s Vitality Blast and is unavailable for first few fixtures.
St Lucia Zouks
Lasith Malinga will be replaced by Krishmar Santokie for the first 2 games
Colin de Grandhomme will join Zouks squad after first two matches.
Thisara Perera will be available for the entire season.
Niroshan Dickwella will miss the whole tournament. He will be replaced by Cameron Delport for the first two games and Hardus Viljoen for the rest of the tournament.
Beuran Hendricks is not available and will be replaced by Dominican all-rounder Kavem Hodge.
Barbados Tridents
Alex Hales, Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz and Asif Ali are not available for the full season.
Imad Wasim is available till September 12
Wahab Riaz is available till September 12
Jamaica Tallawahs
Jamaica Tallawahs have replaced Amad Butt with Jerome Taylor for the 2019 Caribbean Premier League season. Butt is now no longer available due to domestic commitments in Pakistan.
Guyana Amazon Warriors
Shadab Khan is available till September 12
