St Lucia Zouks on Wednesday took Twitter to announce that Obed McCoy can take no further part in the tournament due to an injury. He will be replaced by another fellow Windies pacer Krishmar Santokie who is the third-highest wicket-taker in CPL history.
With five points in eight games played so far, the Zouks are sitting fourth in the points table, ahead of the Barbados Tridents who have four points. The bottom-placed Jamaica Tallawahs also have four points. However, the Tridents have played two games less to date, which is a big concern for the Zouks.
The Zouks are now left with two more games which are must-win and in order to remain in contention for the playoffs.
“We have two games left, and they are must-win. We have Jamaica next and we are going to come back stronger,” said Darren Sammy, St Lucia Zouks skipper after a frustrating eight wickets loss against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the last encounter.

Santokie has represented Winides and Guyana
The 34-years-old left-arm medium-pacer has represented Windies in T20Is and has also been part of Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. Santokie was selected by the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 2014 edition.
He has also represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League in 2013.
With a slingy action and ability to bowl deceiving slower balls at the death overs has made Santokie an asset in the shortest format of the game.
