What should be the topic of discussion?
It’s been a complete failure of India as a batting unit, and COA organised a meeting in Mumbai on September 11 where not only the performance of the Indian Team in England will be the part of the discussion but also the new constitutional changes will be considered in it.
“There will be a COA meeting in Mumbai on September 11, 2018, while the main discussion will be on implementation of the constitutional changes, the performance of India in the Specsavers series will come up for discussion,” a BCCI official quoted to a renowned media agency.
“It will be only COA’s call whether they want to meet Ravi Shastri in person or look for his feedback via a written report in any other way. At this point, Cricket Advisory Committee is non-functional at that time. Till elections are held, it’s CoA which will be in charge, so it’s only imperative that they will assess the performance” told the official.
The scenario of Indian cricket
After winning the T20I series by 2-1 in England, India has shown the dichotomy of their T20 version in Tests and ODI in the British conditions. India has won the only Test and ODI match in England, but the series got sealed by the hosts. India was on the edge to win the first Test in Edgbaston, Birmingham, but they fell before the finishing line. The remaining matches were turned up to be a nightmare for the Indian side, and the guest fell short of an innings at the home of cricket, Lord’s.

Is Ravi Shastri answerable?
In the meantime, the team is struggling at this point, and the role of the chief coach Ravi Shastri has come under scanner, and it would be discussed on the COA’s meet to be held on today.
Ravi Shastri called this India team the best among the previous teams, but their performance on the English soil proved him all wrong.
