When will IPL 2021 return?
The IPL 2021 was suspended by the BCCI as a result of the rising COVID 19 cases. Players such as Amith Mishra, Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier were also affected by the virus, which made the governing body make the difficult decision of bringing the star studded league to a halt.
As of now, there are reports that the BCCI are considering rescheduling the remaining fixtures before the ICC T20 World Cup, which takes place in October. England, UAE, Australia and Sri Lanka are some of the venues that are being considered, as postponing the IPL further could lead to huge losses.
