Cricket, with its long international schedules and world-wide franchise commitments, can be quite a draining experience for its professional players. Especially in a country like India where cricket is second to nothing in terms of popularity, the expectations of the players can be so high. So it becomes quite difficult for topmost Indian cricketers to have and enjoy lighter funny moments during the course of their career. One modern-day Indian cricketer who contrary to all these expectations finds his own time to share some funny moments is Yuzvendra Chahal. In his latest interview, he named one other Indian cricketer who has a great sense of humour.
Kedar Jadhav is the funniest teammate, says Yuzvendra Chahal
Leader of India’s limited-overs spin attack, Yuzvendra Chahal was interviewed recently by famous cricket presenter Roshni Chasmawala on her youtube channel. As a part of the Rapid fire round, she asked him to name one Indian cricketer who could make him laugh easily. Chahal wasted no time in giving his answer. He revealed that Indian all-rounder Kedar Jadhav is probably one of the funniest teammates he had ever had in the Indian dressing room.
Would like to have quarantined with Rohit Sharma, says Yuzvendra Chahal
In response to the question on which cricketer he’d like to have quarantined with he replied that he would have liked to have quarantined with India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma and his spin partner Kuldeep Yadav. He added that he shares a good relationship with both of them and are close friends off the field as well.
He went onto mention that he used to dine with Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Manish Pandey, and Shreyas Iyer while on tours as all these people shared the same vibe.
In the interview, he also elaborated upon his passion for the game and his experience with RCB and his aspirations for the future. He also went onto add that he was learning some dance moves online and revealed that he will be releasing them in the coming weeks through his social media accounts.
