The Punjab Kings got off to a good start in the first 10 overs with Rahul and Gayle at the helm, But, soon the top batters of the team were dismissed and the team was in a spot of bother until the 15th over.  But with the arrival of Brar who stitched a good partnership with captain KL Rahul and team posted a score of 179 on the board.

Then the bowlers of Punjab Kings were terrific with the likes of Shami and Meredith containing the top-order of RCB. Then spinners Harpreet Brar picked 3 wickets, and mystery spinner Ravi Bishnoi picked 2 wickets of Shahbaz Ahmed and Daniel Sams. He also picked a terrific catch of Harshal Patel Mohammad Shami’s bowling in the long-off boundary. In the last league match as well. he took a good catch and his fielding efforts were also lauded by the commentators as well.

What went wrong for RCB against PBKS?

The Royal Challengers Bangalore made a perfect comeback after the 10th over in the first innings of the match, where they picked key wickets of Gayle and Pooran, and then Hooda and Shahrukh in quick succession. But the partnership of KL Rahul and Harpreet Brar will hurt them pretty bad as they got to chase the total of 180 which was above par due to the size of the ground.

The team could not gain enough momentum in the first 10 overs even with the presence of Virat Kohli. Then with the terrific bowling of Harpreet Brar who picked 3 main wickets was a cause of loss for the team.
