Brad Hogg names India's Mr 360 who "will be hard to bowl to" for England

Brad Hogg praises Suryakumar Yadav: India and England will be at it again, but this time in the shortest format of the game at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmadabad. There are plenty of fresh faces who were recently included to the Indian squad who can turn out to be real prospects going ahead.

The likes of Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur, K.L. Rahul and Hardik Pandya are expected to be back in action  after not being involved much in the past couple of months. However, Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan will also be expecting to get debuts, while, the former is more likely to be given the nod by Captain Kohli.

Suryakumay Yadav Debut:

Suryakumar Yadav has been making the rounds ever since signing for Mumbai Indians followed by a consistent run of form in the domestic games as well. Plenty of fans felt that the specialist batsman was hard done by after not being added for the tour to Australia last year.

Nevertheless, he now has an opportunity to shine against a quality England unit, which could in turn be pivotal for a spot in the ICC T20 World Cup later this year.

There are several admirers of Suryakumar Yadav’s skill with the bat. One of them being former Australian wrist spinner Brad Hogg. Hogg in a video on his YouTube channel stated that Suryakumar is a “must” in the playing eleven and can go “360” when he wants to.

“Suryakumar Yadav… he’s got to play in there because he’s an aggressive batsman, plays 360 degree and is hard to bowl to,”

Apart from that, Brad Hogg also weighed in on the bowling options, and more particularly the spinners the Men in Blue could ideally opt for.

“Will India go with Sundar and Chahal? Those two don’t have a taller height like Ashwin or Axar Patel. So will India go with two those particular bowlers or three spinners? I would go with Axar Patel because he’s got the height,” Hogg further added
