Big Bash League: In a big breaking development, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have asked all the English players involved in the upcoming limited-overs series against West Indies to fly back home on immediate basis. The likes of Sam Billings (Sydney Thunder), James Vince (Sydney Sixers), Tymal Mills (Perth Scorchers), George Garton (Adelaide Strikers), Chris Jordan (Sydney Sixers), Reece Topley (Melbourne Renegades) and Saqib Mahmood (Sydney Thunder) will not be playing in the remainder of the Big Bash League 2021-22 season. ECB have asked the player to isolate before 7 January, 2022 for the upcoming West Indies tour. The England and Wales Cricket Board should have also taken this big step keeping in mind the recent COVID-19 outbreak in the ongoing BBL tournament where many teams have been affected from the virus.
