Did players breach the protocols? Will the series gets canceled?
The players and staff from both teams were requested to follow strict measures to minimize the chances of contracting the virus. They are allowed to eat, shop, and go outside but were told to be seated outdoors while visiting restaurants.
The staff at Secret Kitchen, noodles, and BBQ restaurant at Chadstone Shopping Centre, where the players dined have confirmed that the Indian cricketers were seated indoors. Both boards are investigating the matter and the final decision is yet to be made.
On the other hand, the fan who posted this video has apologized for the incident and clarified that Pant didn’t hug him and he told all these in his excitement.
