Bangladesh vs India, 2nd Test: Bangladesh and India are set to turn up against each other in the second and final game of the two-match Test series on Bangladeshi land. The match will be played on Thursday (December 22) at 9:00 AM (IST) at Shere Bangla National Stadium, in Mirpur (Dhaka).
Bangladesh recently lost the first Test in Chattogram on December 18. The side will be aiming to at least level the series against the mighty Indian red ball team.
India, on the other hand, will want a perfect Test match win. Unlike Bangladesh, they are still in the race to the World Test Championship Final 2023 and will not afford a defeat or even a draw.
As the traditional rivalry between the sides moves further, here’s the weather update from Mirpur, where Bangladesh vs India Test game will be played.

It’s winter in the ‘land of six seasons,’ that is Bangladesh. So, the weather is unlikely to play any role in the five-day game.
Furthermore, the Mirpur weather, on Thursday, is predicted to hover around 27° celcius. During game time, according to the Weather Channel, the winds will flow at a speed of around 10 to 15 km/h. During the local match time in Mirpur, there will be 64% humidity in the air (9:30 PM BST). No rain has been predicted around the venue.
Moreover, on Friday and Saturday, the weather will be clear, overall. On the fourth and fifth days of the game (Sunday and Monday) too, the sky will be clear with winds flowing at variable speeds. Although, no rain has been predicted on any of the matchdays.

India attain a convincing triumph in the first Test in Rohit Sharma’s absence
Under the leadership of KL Rahul, India won the first Test in Chattogram on December 18. In the first innings, India put on a total of 404 runs. The number three batter Cheteshwar Pujara topped the scorecard with his 90 runs in 203 deliveries. Apart from him, Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin scored crucial fifties. Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz captured four wickets each.
In their first innings then, Bangladesh could only score 150 runs, as India’s Kuldeep Yadav picked up a fivefer.
Again, India batted well in their second innings with the opener Shubman Gill and Pujara’s centuries. The visitors set a huge target of 513 runs for the hosts, to chase.
In reply, Bangladesh in their second innings tried to recover well. The opener Zakir Hasan scored a ton, while, Najmul Shanto and the skipper Shakib Al Hasan scored the fifties. In the meantime, India’s Axar Patel picked up four wickets, while, Yadav picked three. And India bagged a victory by 188 runs. In the end, Yadav, the left-arm leggie, was announced as ‘player of the match’ for his excellent contribution to the ball as well as the bat.
