The two debutants are 19-year-old leg-spinner, Georgia Wareham and fast bowler Tayla Vlaeminck who is also 19. The two have been added to the 13 players who will be led by skipper Meg Lanning. The upcoming three-match series will help the team plan ahead of the November World Cup that will be held in the Caribbean.
Their experience
Shawn Flegler who is a National selector praised the Australian team saying they were strong. He also added that he was pleased to see such young player’s take part. Georgia may not have much experience in domestic cricket but she did represent Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL.

He added that the team was well equipped in the leg-spin department. He also said that Georgia was a full package when it comes to T20 cricket. Georgia has had involvement with the national performance squad and has been considered to be an international prospect for quite some time.
Vlaeminck, on the other hand, has faced adversity after having her knee reconstructed twice. She does hope for a long international career. Flegler said that even though Vlaeminck has been prone to injury, she has all the attributes to be a good strike bowler. She is young, competitive and can take wickets easily.
