Remember Don Bradman praising young Sachin Tendulkar after seeing him scoring a ton at SCG in 1992? What went after that is history in the game of Cricket. Now, young Aussie batsman has earned similar praise from former Indian great.
“Marnus Labuschagne is the next big thing”
Arguably the greatest cricketer ever Sachin Tendulkar is all in great mood talking about young Australian sensation Marnus Labuschagne. Sachin was impressed right from the moment he saw Marnus bat for the very first time. “There is something special about him”, said Tendulkar. It is fair to add that Marnus Labuschagne came into the limelight after coming in as concussion substitute for Steve Smith at Lord’s last year.

Sachin Tendulkar added that Marnus Labuschagne is having the technique that can prosper in any conditions. Marnus was hit on the helmet straight away when he came into bat at Lord’s but the way he batted for the next 15 minutes was very impressive to many experts. Indian great also told about the mentality of a batsman when he is put into tougher situations. Sachin Tendulkar has also backed Steve Smith to go on and achieve even greater heights in his international career.
It was a great pleasure to welcome back Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh to the SCG today who are in Australia for the Bush Fire Cricket Bash Cricket Australia #BigAppeal pic.twitter.com/PjDmVf0RuE

Sachin is in Australia for Bushfire charity game
Sachin Tendulkar has landed in Australia for the Bushfire charity cricket match. He was addressing the media at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground. Notably, charity game has been shifted to Melbourne on Sunday because of the bad weather forecast for the weekend at Sydney. Shane Warne has moved out of the game due to professional commitments and Adam Gilchrist will lead the side in his absence. Sachin Tendulkar will be coaching the Ponting XI during the weekend. So, this is an interesting occasion for all the fans to see Ricky Ponting, Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulkar on the same bench. Yuvraj Singh is another big name involved from the Indian perspective.
