AUS vs PAK 3rd T20I: Australia rest star pacer for final T20I

AUS vs PAK 3rd T20I: Cricket Australia has decided to rest their premium pacer Pat Cummins for the third and final T20I against Pakistan which will be played at the Perth Stadium in Perth.
This news will be a big boost for Pakistan who have already lost the second T20I and to draw level in the series they need to win this final fixture. The series till now has seen two matches with the first one ended in a no-result due to rain, whereas, the second T20I was comfortably won by Australia who chased down 150 with 7 wickets to spare.
Pat Cummins deserved this rest especially after the show he put up in the Ashes and then featured in the home T20I series against Sri Lanka as well. He will be back for the two-match Test series which will be commenced from November 21st at the Gabba in Brisbane.
According to the ‘Sydney Morning Herald’, to prepare for the Test series, Cummins will be featuring for the New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield game against Western Australia at the SCG which will also feature his national teammates like Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Steven Smith and David Warner.

Billy Stanlake is the front runner to replace him in the eleven
A replacement in the form of Billy Stanlake is definitely a fruitful one. Stanlake recently featured in the third T20I against Sri Lanka where he scalped 2 wickets for 23 runs from his quota of 4 overs.
His career numbers- 27 wickets from 18 matches with best figures of 4 for 8 which came against Pakistan in Harare.
