Asia Cup Super Four Schedule and Format – Check Details

The Asia Cup 2022 will have its Super Four stage starting on 3 September as four teams will compete for a place in the final on Sunday, September 11. As per the format, top two teams from Group A and Group B will meet each other in round-robin format in the Super Four stage, starting on Saturday, September 3.
While India had an easy passage to the Super Four stage after beating arch-rivals Pakistan and Hong Kong, former champions Sri Lanka had to grind their way to the Super Four after a last-gasp win over Bangladesh. Afghanistan have been the surprise package as they topped Group B ahead of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, beating them both.
With still one fixture of the group stage remaining between Pakistan and Hong Kong, one spot is yet to be decided.

Sri Lanka and Afghanistan who raised the curtains for the Asia Cup 2022, will also raise the curtains for the Super Four stage on Saturday, September 3.
As things stand, three fixtures are confirmed for the Super Four stage. India will play Afghanistan on Tuesday, September 6 at the Dubai International Stadium. The same venue will host India’s next Super Four stage encounter against Sri Lanka on Thursday, September 8.
India vs Pakistan Super Four Match on the cards?
If Pakistan beat Hong Kong on Friday, September 2 then both India and Pakistan could be set for a Super Sunday clash in the Super Four. The match will take place at the Dubai International Stadium and will likely be a full-house if both India and Pakistan feature.
However, if Hong Kong beat Pakistan in the final group stage encounter, they will instead make the Super Four on Pakistan’s expense.
The two teams topping the Super Four stage will meet in the final of the Asia Cup on Sunday, September 11 at the Dubai International Stadium.
