Andre Russell to miss first two Afghanistan Premier League T20 games

Nangarhar Leopards, the franchise of a naïve contest Afghanistan Premier League announced that their captain Andre Russell will be leading his team from the third fixture due to his prior commitments.
Russell’s unavailability became a chance for Ben Cutting, and Team also announced that Ben would be leading the team in the first two encounters of Nangarhar Leopards in the league. According to the added information given by the team management, Russell is occupied with his prior commitment to the Regional Super50 domestic cup a limited-overs competition. Captain Russell will back on 9th October to play against Kabul Zwanan.
It is an excellent opportunity for English all-rounder, Ben Cutting, to step out and show his leadership skills. Although it is not going to be easy at all, Ben has to work out on team’s combination. He has to judge the player’s merit and give them space to his XI. Ben got a chance to lead the youngest players in the entire APL T20. He will guide 18-year-old Leg break googly bowler Sandeep Lamichhane, and 17-year-old Afghani player Mujeeb Zadran (he is the youngest player in the whole APL T20).
Nangarhar Leopards’ executive director Mr Nitin M Bagrecha told media that they have the best chance to win the inaugural season of APL as they got the finest fusion of experience and young heads together in the team. Along with Ben Cutting, Andre Russell, Andre Fletcher, Mitchell McClenaghan, Anton Devich will add up the experience quotient in the side while Mujeeb Zadran, Shafiqullah Shafaq, Najibullah Taraki, Rahmat Shah, Naveen Ul Haq Zahir Khan, Fazal Haq, Imran Janat, Nasratullah Quarishi, Khyber Omar, Ibrahim Zadran, Fazal Nazal, Hashmatuallh Shahidi will be there to increase the enthusiastic quotient of the team.
Afghanistan Premier League will commence from October 5 and fans will witness 23 matches until its final day. Five teams are going to battle out for the trophy of the league. Let the journey begin…
