Alex Hales out of PSL 2022: In an important news update, Islamabad United’s explosive opener Alex Hales has pulled out from the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 edition. The Islamabad United are currently placed at the third position in the team standings with a total of four wins and three losses so far in this Pakistan Super League T20. In the today’s PSL 2022 match, the Peshawar Zalmi will be up against the Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Alex Hales Out of PSL 2022?
This is a massive blow for the Islamabad United side as Alex Hales has withdrawn from the remaining Pakistan Super League T20 season. According to sources, the England cricketer has pulled out of the T20 competition due to bio-bubble fatigue. Hales is currently the fifth highest leading run-getter in the tournament with an impressive tally of 255 runs from as many as 7 matches at a brilliant average of 42.50. With a highest score of 82 not out, the right-hander has notched up two half-centuries at a wonderful strike-rate of 156.44.

“We wish him very best of luck for his future,” said the Islamabad United’s management.
With Hales out of the season, Islamabad United now have the option of slotting left-handed Kiwi batsman Colin Munro in the playing 11 and he can definitely open the batting.

The 22nd game of the Pakistan Super League 2022 is scheduled to be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators on 15 February (Tuesday) in Lahore. Both these sides are coming into this match after witnessing quite similar fortunes in the ongoing T20 competition. Peshawar Zalmi are occupying the fifth spot with 3 wins and as many as 4 defeats so far. On the other hand, the Quetta Gladiators have managed to win 3 out of their 7 matches in PSL 2022.
