AFGH vs IND Dream11: Injury Updates, Team News And More

Afghanistan and India will lock horns for the first time in tournament at Dubai in the evening. Although, the fixture has already turned out to be a dead rubber, it will interesting to watch Afghanistan after their stellar show so far in the tournament.

While India has secured a place in the final, Afghanistan got knocked out of the tournament in Super Four stage. Unbeaten in the group stage, Afghanistan lost both of their Super Four encounters in the last over. With a lot cherish, Afghanistan would be hoping to give a similar competition to the Men in Blue and bid adieu  to the tournament on a high.

India on the opposite, would be thinking to test their bench strength and give rest to some of their key players ahead of the final on Friday. India is unbeaten so far in the tournament and are one of the favorites to clinch the Asia Cup 2018 Champions title.

So, here are some of the possible changes both the teams can consider to undergo-

Afghanistan:

• Afghanistan would be looking to play to their full potential in their last outing. So, far only one change has been made by management in the tournament. Nazibullah Zadran and Samiullah Shenwari have replaced each other in alternate games. And, this is the only expected change in the Afghanistan’s squad.
• N Zadran can come in place of Samiullah Shenwari.

India:

• India can undergo a couple of changes and give rest to some of the key players.
• KL Rahul and Manish Pandey have not played a single match so far.
• While KL will only replace an opener, Shikhar Dhawan can be given rest prior to the big final and KL can play in his place.
• Manish Pandey might get a chance in place of Dinesh Karthik or Ambati Rayudu. however, Pandey comes in the playing11, most probably Dinesh Karthik will sit out.
• In bowling, management might consider giving rest to Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.
• Khaleel Ahmed, Deepak Chahar and Siddarth Kaul can get a chance if the pacers get some rest.
