Aaron Finch caught up with wrong choice of words!
Royal Challengers Bangalore were taking on Kolkata Knight Riders at Sharjah yesterday. Batting first, RCB openers were going along nicely when Andre Russell came on to bowl 6th over of the innings. Aaron Finch tried to slap one of his deliveries to the fence but missed it completely. Being the last over of powerplay, Aaron Finch was clearly annoyed with himself and uttered “Oh, you bastard” in frustration. His words were clearly caught on stump mic and broadcasters could not stop from going it live on the world feed. Players will have to remain extra cautious from now on as modern day broadcasters tend to leave stump mic unmuted for most of the time.

RCB hand a hammering to KKR!
Both the teams were well-equipped with power-hitters when they reached Sharjah for their crucial clash yesterday. Batting first on a dry pitch by Sharjah’s standards, RCB openers gave them a brisk start. Devdutt Padikkal made 32 while Aaron Finch missed out on his fifty. Mr. 360 AB de Villiers joined his mate Virat Kohli for the final push. And AB de Villiers delivered a flourish if ever there was one. He hit it to all parts of Sharjah and took a liking to KKR bowling. He pulverized KKR with a 33-ball-77 which also included 6 sixes and 5 fours. RCB piled on 194 runs on the board.
In reply, only Shubman Gill hung around for a while as all others struggled to time the ball on a slowing surface. All the big names came and went but not a single player took the responsibility to take KKR close. As a result, they only made 112 from their 20 overs and lost the match by 82 runs.
