Hasan Ali Four Sixes: Pakistan is currently facing South Africa in the series deciding third ODI match at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. The host South African team registered a brilliant 17-run win in the second ODI to draw level the three-match ODI series with a 1-1 scoreline. However, after being asked to bat first in the third and final match, Pakistan have posted a mammoth total of 320 for 7 in their 50 overs courtesy a remarkable century from Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam’s amazing 94-run knock.

After a sensational performance by the trio of Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam in setting a strong foundation, Pakistan suffered a dramatic batting collapse where they lost four wickets for 43 runs. However, while playing in his first match of the series, Hasan Ali smashed four towering sixes in a single over to power Pakistan towards an imposing score of 320 for 7 in 50 overs. During the 49th over of the game, Hasan clobbered South African all-rounder JJ Smuts for a total of 25 runs.

After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Pakistan got off to an excellent start with openers, Fakhar and Imam putting up a fabulous partnership of 112 runs. Imam played a fine innings of 57 runs after which Fakhar and skipper Babar Azam added 94 runs for the second wicket stand. Opener Fakhar Zaman became the first Pakistani batsman to smash two consecutive hundreds on South African soil during his stupendous innings of 101 runs off 104 balls that consisted of 9 fours and 3 sixes. Towards the end, Babar and Hasan Ali wrecked havoc by smashing a total of 56 runs in the last 3 overs.
The Pakistani captain smashed an outstanding knock of 94 runs off 82 balls while Hasan contributed with a quick-fire cameo of 32 runs off only 11 balls to help their team reach 320 for 7. For South Africa, Keshav Maharaj bowled really well picking 3 crucial wickets while Aiden Markram took two wickets as well.
