Mushfiqur Rahim, the former Bangladesh captain, is one of the best cricketers in the country, yet he has enraged Indian supporters in two separate instances. The first time it happened was in the 2007 World Cup when he played brilliant innings at a young age to knock India out of the group stages.

In the 2016 T20 World Cup, Bangladesh also lost a game against India in the knockout rounds, which angered Rahim. When India was eliminated in the Semifinals, Rahim tweeted that the defeat brought him joy. He subsequently removed it, but the Indian fans lost their cool.
