IND vs ENG Stats : India defeated England by 8 runs in the fourth T20I match in Ahmedabad and leveled the series 2-2 with one match to go. Earlier England won the toss and opted to bowl first. India had a poor start as they lost Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul cheaply and captain Kohli also got out for 1 run.

Suryakumar Yadav who came to bat at 3 showed his good form from first ball and kept scoring runs for fun and his 57 runs knock set the platform for a big score and in the end Shreyas Iyer’s quick 40 odd runs helped India to post 185/8 on the board. In reply England lost Jos Buttler cheaply. Jason Roy scored 40 runs but Malan also failed once again and at 66/3 England was in trouble but Ben Stokes’46 in 23 balls and Jonny Bairstow’s 20 odd runs put India on backfoot but Rahul Chahar and Shardul Thakur took 3 wickets in 2 overs and brought India back in the game and eventually England finished on 177/8 and fell short of the target by 8 runs.
