2nd Test, ENG vs NZ: The test series between England and New Zealand started on June 2 and ended with a draw. The Day 3 of the test match was abandoned due to rain, and if it was being used, the match would have definitely got a result. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic test match for New Zealand in all aspects, and England team would be happy with their performance in the 2nd innings. The debutant Devon Conway scored a double hundred and will surely be an important member of the team in the World Test Championship Final. For the England team, Rory Burns was again impressive with his century.

2nd Test, ENG vs NZ: Ollie Robinson replacement
The fast bowler Ollie Robinson made his international debut in the first test match and took 7 wickets. But, due to the tweet made by him 9 years ago resurfaced on social media platform Twitter, he was suspended from international cricket by England Cricket Board. Although, he is still eligible to play for his domestic team, Sussex in the County Championship. The screenshots of the posts which contained racist and sexist comments went viral after the lunch session on Day 1 of the first test match.
The Somerset fast bowler Craig Overton who was benched for the first test match is likely to replace Ollie Robinson for the 2nd test match. Overton has scalped 9 wickets in 4 test appearaces, and has 358 wickets in First-class cricket. He will be confident about his performance due to the form in the County Championship 2021. In 6 matches, he took 36 wickets and earned a national call-up to face New Zealand.

C Grandhomme: The batting all-rounder has been a phenomenal limited-overs player, and has lately displayed his capability to score runs in the test format and can be handy with the new red ball.
D Lawrence:Â The middle-order batsman was impressive in the series against India on a tough pitch earlier this year. In 7 matches this year in County Championship, he scored 495 runs and will be one of the most important players.
