IND vs ENG Stats : England defeated India by 6 wickets in the second ODI match in Pune on Friday night and leveled the series 1-1 with one match to go. The third and final ODI will be played at the same venue on Sunday.

Earlier England won the toss and asked India to bat first. India had a poor start as Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma got out cheaply. Then captain Kohli and KL Rahul added 121 runs for the third wicket and took India in good position. Kohli got out for 66 runs. Then Rahul and Pant changed their gears and smashed all England bowlers all over the park. KL Rahul brought up his 5th ODI hundred and Rishabh Pant completed his 2nd ODI fifty. Both the batsmen added 113 runs for the fourth wicket. KL Rahul scored 108 runs, Pant 77 off 40 balls and Hardik also chipped in with a cameo of 35 runs off 16 balls and India finished on 336/6 in 50 overs. In reply Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow gave another good start and their 110 runs opening partnership set the chase. Roy got run out on 55 runs and then Stokes joined the party. Bairstow brought up his hundred and Stokes also crossed 50 runs mark and then he changed the gears and scored 49 runs in next 11 balls and unfortunately missed his ton and perished off Bhuvi bowling for 99 runs in 52 balls. In the end England lost a few wickets but Liam Livingstone and Malan took England home in 44th over.
