140, 157, 107: Twitter lauds the unstoppable run machine Kohli

Kohli slams three hundreds in three innings
It seems that Virat Kohli has no limits. The Indian skipper simply arrives at the crease, plays his strokes, gathers runs and reaches hundreds and he does this nonchalantly innings after innings.
After slamming two hundreds in the first two innings against Windies everyone expected a triple-figure mark from him and like a true superstar he didn’t disappoint. Kohli became the first Indian to score three back to back ODI hundreds and this was enough for Twitter to erupt with congratulatory tweets for the Indian captain.
If RBI decides to come up with a new 100 Rupee note, they should consider putting Virat Kohli's face on it.

India’s innings revolve around Virat, once again
After scoring 140 runs at Guhawati and then 157 at Vizag, the right-hand batsman arrived at the crease in the third ODI with India requiring 284 runs to win. India had lost Rohit Sharma early and Dhawan followed him soon. Ambati Rayudu and Rishabh Pant failed to capitalise on their starts and MS Dhoni continued to struggle. Amid this harakiri by the Indian batsmen, Kohli stunned the cricket world with his jaw-dropping consistency and humongous appetite for runs.
He brought his third century in a row and became the first Indian player to do so.

In the process, his ODI average at one stage reached 60 which is yet another rare feat to scale. However his dismissal at the score of 107 has brought his average to 59.90 and it also ended India’s hopes of winning the third ODI.

By defeating India in this game, the visitors have tasted victory for the first time in this tour and this makes this ODI series even more exciting. Both teams have won one match each and now 2 ODIs are remaining in this series.
Twitter applauds Kohli for his Herculean effort
Cricketers, analysts and fans flooded Twitter with congratulatory Tweets for the Indian skipper who now has 1153 runs in 12 innings in 2018 at an average of 144.12.

I have seen machines of many kinds. But hardly a century machine like Virat Kohli. We are seeing a magnificent phase of batsmanship.
