The first match in Sharjah is expected to be a one-sided affair as CSK starts as clear cut favourites against this weakened Rajasthan line-up. Rajasthan who will be playing their first match of the tournament is without the services of opening batsman Jos Buttler and star all-rounder Ben Stokes. Their absence will hurt RR big time. David Miller is expected to replace Stokes and either of Uthappa or Vohra will replace Buttler at top of the order. Apart from that RR lacks quality in their bowling to tackle this CSK challenge. On the positive note, some of their new recruits along with their seasoned campaigners makes up a strong domestic batting core.
