RCB vs SRH: Who will win?
After a thrilling super over finish between Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab, the Dubai International cricket stadium will host the star-studded match between the southern rivals Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday. Both teams look well balanced on paper, with very few weaknesses. SRH has always had an edge over the RCB, and that is more or less expected to continue. That being said Virat Kohli and co. can upset the SRH if they can take some early wickets, by packing out SRH’s top-3 cheaply. Considering the consistency of SRH’s top order, the chances of that happening are quite less, so bet on SRH to win this match.
Strength
Royal Challengers Bangalore
- Strong top-order batting. Probably the best top-4 in the tournament.
- Highly potent domestic spin attack.
- Presence of genuine match-winners like Virat and ABD, who can single-handedly win matches for their team.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
- Warner-Bairstow, the best opening pair in the tournament.
- A strong domestic pace attack, along with the spin magician Rashid Khan makes them one of the best bowling line-up of IPL 2020.
- Strong overseas core.
Weakness
Royal Challengers Bangalore
- No proper specialist death bowler. All their pacers have terrible economy rates at death.
- Weak lower middle order, with no established finisher. After top-4, the batting line-up looks bleak.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
- Weak domestic batting core. Apart from Manish Pandey, none of SRH’s Indian batsmen are of IPL standards.
- Death bowling. After the injury Bhuvneshwar Kumar has dropped below his set standards and has been expensive at the death. SRH is yet to find a solution to this problem.

- SRH have a better bowling attack than RCB.
- Even though inexperienced, SRH has bought in some exciting young talents to sort out their middle-order problem.
- SRH is highly under-rated. After MI, CSK, and KKR, they are the most consistent team in the history of the IPL. They are expected to continue this good form and edge over RCB as per today match prediction.

RCB VS SRH MATCH PREDICTION
After the tournament opener between MI and CSK, this high voltage clash between RCB and SRH is one of the most anticipated matches of week 1. Both the teams have made some smart buys in the auction ahead of this year’s IPL, and hence on paper, both teams looks evenly matched. With the likes of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, and Aaron Finch set to take the field, a high scoring encounter is expected, unlike the first two matches of IPL 2020.
If captain Kohli’s words are to be believed RCB has left behind the past baggage and is looking to start afresh for this season. For that reason they have boosted their batting line-up with young exciting Devdutt Padikkal and Australian captain Aaron Finch, to provide the much-needed assistance to Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. Like last year Umesh Yadhav, Navdeep Saini, Yuzuvendra Chahal, and Washington Sundar complete their domestic bowling line up. All-rounder Dube will be slotted in as the floater with Chris Morris, Moeen Ali, and Dale Steyn fighting it out for the remaining two overseas spots. Considering how the match between DC and KXIP went, the South African pace bowling duo of Steyn and Morris are expected to get the first nod ahead of Ali owing to the extra grass in the pitch. RCB’s chances in this match depend heavily on the ability of their pace bowlers to take early wickets in the powerplay.
SRH on the other hand have a very similar squad compared to last year. The opening duo of Warner and Bairstow picks themselves with Pandey and Vijay Shankar to follow. Either of Nabi or Fabian Allen is expected to play the role of the finisher. Like last year Bhuvi, Rashid, Khaleel, Kaul, and Sandeep Sharma makes up their bowling line-up. The extra bit of grass in the Dubai surface and the ground dimensions will suit the SRH pacers, whose strength lies in swing and variations. The only change in their line-up will be in the middle order, where the new recruits like Abdul Samad and Virat Singh will replace the oldies Yusuf Pathan and Deepak Hooda. Their former captain Kane Williamson is most likely to be benched to have a proper team balance. On paper, they looks a better side and hence should be able to defeat RCB ideally, unless there is some special AB or Virat masterclass.
RCB Playing 11- Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli(c), AB De Villiers (wk), Shivam Dube, Chris Morris/ Moeen Ali, Washington Sundar, Umesh Yadav, Dale Steyn, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini

Expert free tip
- RCB opener Devdutt Padikkal is an exciting young batsman with an outstanding record in domestic T20 cricket. Due to less popularity, most people won’t pick him in their fantasy teams. So pick him in your fantasy teams to gain big in grand leagues.
- At least two of Virat Kohli, David Warner, and AB de Villiers are a must in your fantasy teams. Their consistency in the IPL is unmatched.
- Brute pace bowlers with the ability to hit the deck hard have had an impressive outing in IPL 2020 so far. Navdeep Saini and Khaleel Ahmed are such kinds of bowlers. Invest in them for online cricket betting.
RCB vs SRH Toss Prediction and Pitch Report
Ideally, the Dubai pitches behave on the slower side. But as visible from the last match played here between DC and KXIP, the pitch has even covering of grass which assists both the fast bowlers and spinners equally. Seamers should be able to extract a little bit of movement early on in the innings. Considering the nature of the pitch and the batting line-ups of both the teams, any score below 170 would be pretty easy to chase down.
Predicted first innings score
If Royal Challengers Bangalore bats first: 160-170
If Sunrisers Hyderabad bat first: 150-160

Players who are expected to perform well as per Dream11 Prediction.
Top Batsman
RCB- Virat Kohli
King Kohli is the leading run-scorer in the IPL. Adding to that, he is returning back to action after a long gap of 6 months. He will be hungry for runs much more than ever. As for cricket betting tips, he is a sure shot candidate to bet your money on.
SRH- David Warner
Warner is the most consistent batsman in the history of the IPL. He has never had an off-season. The three orange caps that he has to his name are a proof for the same. With the ball coming on nicely to the bat in the Dubai pitch, Warner is expected to create a nightmare for RCB bowlers.
Other Prominent options: Jonny Bairstow, Devdutt Padikkal, AB de Villiers
Top Bowler
RCB- Yuzvendra Chahal
Chahal is probably the only consistent bowler that RCB has had in the thirteen-year history of the tournament. With large grounds and expected slowness in the pitch as the match goes on, he is sure to exploit these favourable conditions.
SRH- Rashid Khan
The spin magician needs no introduction. He has been troubling the batsmen all around the world for so long. Not much change to that expected in the UAE IPL.
Other Prominent options: Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Khaleel Ahmed
Most Sixes
RCB- AB de Villiers/ Aaron Finch
If Finch can hang in there for more than 7-8 overs, then he should top this list. If else ABD is the man sure enough to hit more maximums.
SRH- David Warner
For SRH David Warner is expected to bat longer and hence he is the ideal choice to hit more maximums. Bet on him to hit the most number of sixes.
Man of the Match
David Warner
Power game, ability to anchor the innings and sheer consistency. Warner has all those attributes that you would associate with a proper T20 batsman. With favourable conditions at hand, he is the most probable candidate for this category.
