It is an inspirational move for Jhulan Goswami who already is an inspiration to many budding female talents in this sport. She took up cricket at a very early age of 15 and like many other Bengali’s Jhulan too was fond of Football. She has worked hard for cricket since her teen and at the age of 19, she made her dream debut for India in 2002 in a One day International against England at Chennai.
The biopic will be made in Hindi and will mainly trace the journey from her hometown in Nadia district to Lord’s cricket ground where Indian women’s team lost the World Cup finals against England on July 23, 2017.
