Team India’s Gabbar, Shikhar Dhawan, is well known for his unique celebration- “a thigh-five celebration” whenever he sends a batsman back to pavilion either by taking a catch or creating a runout.
However, Shikhar Dhawan got a taste of his own medicine in the fourth ODI of the ongoing 5-match series between India and Windies. The Indian opener was sent back to pavilion in the 12th over when he failed to middle Keemo Paul’s back of length delivery and ended up being caught at short mid-wicket by Kieran Powell.
However, what followed Dhawan’s dismissal left everyone amazed. The right-arm medium fast, Keemo Paul, went on celebrating the dismissal in Dhawan’s own – ‘Gabbar style’. Â He copied Dhawan’s signature ‘thigh-five’ celebration to give the Indian opener a send-off to the pavilion.
In response, the ever-smiling Shikhar Dhawan didn’t take it hard and went back smiling at the whole incident.

Dhawan yet again failed to convert a solid start and contributed 38 runs off the 40 deliveries. India, however, registered a mammoth 224 runs win over Windies in the fourth ODI at the Brabourne Stadium and took a 2-1 lead with one match to go.
Here are some Twitter reactions to the epic celebration-
Excellent celebration by Keemo Paul to give Dhawan his own signature thigh five. And even better from Shikhar to offer a smile on seeing it. Game could do with more of that! #INDvWI
