Rishabh Pant’s aggression is not only limited to his batting but is also evident when he is standing behind the stumps. The Indian wicket-keeper was giving an earful to the Aussie batsmen throughout the Adelaide Test and at one moment the TV commentators took a break and allowed him to take over as the stump mic recorded Pant’s non-stop sledging.
Pant’s non-stop sledging forces broadcaster to stop commentary
On a tough fifth day wicket, against India’s quality bowling attack, Aussie batsmen were facing a stern task and Pant doning the wicket-keeper gloves made their life even more difficult by constantly reminding them of the situation.
Pant’s verbal volleys were so frequent that at one point the television broadcaster stopped the commentary for an entire over and allowed him to take over.
The over was bowled by off-spinner R Ashwin and Patt Cummins was on strike. The Indian wicket-keeper kept on reminding Cummins that batting is not easy and it is difficult. He also asked the Aussie batsman to show some sixes.
When Cummins left alone a wide and short delivery by Ashwin, the Indian wicket-keeper immediately noted that the batsman is not putting away the bad balls.

I love troubling batsmen: Pant
Eventually India won the Test by 31 runs as Australian tailenders fought vigorously on day five. After the match, the youngster said that he always enjoys troubling batsmen. He noted that he loves it when they concentrate on him and not on the bowlers.
Rishabh Pant is probably the first Cricketer to sledge his own bowler as well as the batsman. ‘Come on Pat – you’re not putting the bad ball away!’ #ausvind

He also added that it was really nervous as Australia were coming close, but India did well. And he is very happy to contribute to the team.
Rishabh Pant is that bloke you would absolutely love to play with but would also be the very worst to play against. His chat behind the stumps is brilliantly annoying. #AUSvIND
