भारत बनाम इंग्लैंड टेस्ट सीरीज का आज से आगाज

साल की शुरुआत से जिस टेस्ट सीरीज का क्रिकेट प्रेमी बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे थे वह आज से शुरू होने वाली है. यह सिरीज विराट कोहली की कप्तानी में बुधवार को एडजस्टेन में शुरू होगी. कोहली ने पिछली नौ में से आठ सीरीज जीती हैं, जिसके कारण भारत रैंक वन पर है.

वेघन की भविष्यवाणी

माइकल वेघन ने अपने सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट पर कल एक अपनी सीरीज की वीडियो पोस्ट की. वेघन का मानना है कि इंग्लैंड की टीम भारतीय टीम को 3-1 से हराने मने कामयाब रहेंगे. वेघन ने यह भी कहा कि इंग्लैंड ने इतनी आसानी से कभी पांच मैच की सीरीज नहीं हारी है इसीलिए उनके नजरिए से भी यह आसन नहीं होगा.

उन्होने कहा कि “यह आने वाले दिनों में काफी दिलच्सप होने वाला है. भारतीय समर्थकों को शायद यह बात अखरे पर, इंग्लैंड आसानी से हारने वाली टीम में से नहीं है. वे पांच मैच की लंबी सीरीज में कभी भी वापसी कर सकते हैं.”

ब्रॉड रूट, रहाणे और इशांत होंगे मुख्य खिलाड़ी .

उन्होने कहा कि इंग्लैंड की ओर से स्टुअर्ट ब्रॉड और जो रूट मुख्य खिलाड़ी के तौर पर सामने आ सकते हैं. ब्रॉड सबसे अधिक विकेट लेंगे, और रूट सबसे अधिक रन बनाएंगे. भारतीय टीम में रहाणे सबसे अधिक रन बना सकते हैं, और तेज गेंदबाज इशांत शर्मा सबसे अधिक विकेट लेंगे. “

ENG-IND TEST SERIES BEGINS TODAY

The most awaited Test series between India and England is all set to begin from today, Wednesday, August 1 at Edgbaston. Under captain Kohli’s guidance, the Indian squad has won 8 of their last 9 Test series and are currently the No.1 ranked side in the ICC Test rankings.

VAUGHAN’S PREDICTION

Michael Vaughan was seen posting a video of his series on Instagram just yesterday and he feels that the host i.e. England will be able to defeat the Indian team once again by 3-1. Moreover, he believes that England hasn’t lost the five-match test series very frequently and therefore should be able to make an easy win.

“Weather is going to be fine over the next few weeks. Indian fans aren’t going to like this but England will win this series by 3-1. You don’t see England lose that many five-Test series in English conditions,” he said.

BROAD, ROOT, RAHANE, ISHAN MIGHT BE THE SHINING STARS

He mentioned Stuart Broad and Joe Root will emerge victorious with leading wickets and run scorer respectively during the course of the game. However, he was also seen backing Ajinkya Rahane and Ishant Sharma to become the leading run-getter and the wicket-taker respectively for the visitors.

“Leading wicket-taker for England would be Stuart Broad. He found form in the Test match against Pakistan at Headingley. Joe Root showed great form in the One-Day series and should continue in the same vein. For India, I will go with Ishant Sharma who will pick wickets for them and Ajinkya Rahane to be the leading run-scorer,’ he further added.

India had won the last Test series on English soil back in 2007.
